Congrats to the Idaho G2009 ODP team for taking 3rd place in the ODP West Regionals. Girls went 2-1 with their only lose to AZ, the tournament winner. SVSC represented by Skyler Jensen and Gracie Wallace.

Today, we celebrate the 5-year anniversary of our Club Director, Steve Carroll!

Steve has led Sun Valley SC through challenges and triumphs, always representing our club with integrity, passion, and commitment. He continues to be a role model for the young boys and girls in our community, inspiring them both on and off the field. We’re incredibly fortunate to have the most qualified and experienced Director in the Valley guiding our club’s future.

Last year, Steve completed his U.S. Soccer Director’s License—one of the highest coaching qualifications in the country. His dedication to continuing education off the field directly impacts the development of our players on the field, showing his unwavering commitment to the growth of soccer in our community.

A message from Steve:
“I am proud to have been the director of SVSC for the last 5 years. There have been some challenging moments, but seeing our young boys and girls develop and grow a love for the game always makes it worthwhile. I am very optimistic about the future of the club. We have an amazing coaching staff, talented players, and supportive parents. I want to continue pushing this club forward and providing the best possible soccer experiences for all our players. We still have work to do, but I’m as determined as ever to do the best for all our members.”

Some of our SVSC high school girls competed at the SoCal showcase over thanksgiving weekend with our friends from twin falls rapids and GSA. The girls played against some of the top ECNL teams on the west coast and managed two draws, with one draw vs LAFC ECNL girls team!

Congratulations to Skyler Jensen and Gracie Wallace! We are thrilled to celebrate these two talented athletes on their selection to the 2009 ODP State Team!

Both Skyler and Gracie have been part of SVSC since their early playing days, and their achievement highlights the dedication and skill they’ve developed through years of hard work. It also reflects the high-quality training and competitive opportunities SVSC provides for both boys and girls in the Valley.

At SVSC, we pride ourselves on offering players the chance to compete at the highest levels in Idaho and beyond. Our mission is to create a challenging, supportive environment where players can hone their skills, push their limits, and achieve their soccer dreams—whether that means making state teams, competing regionally, or advancing to collegiate soccer.
